It been week since I last posted something, took a sun off for myself this week to do my own stuff end up did a few sketches and slept 16 hrs. is not very productive but I sure enjoy it haha.. haven't really been sleeping much lately due to school final year project. anyway this is some of my latest box head sketch

A concept drawing I have wanted to start the whole set of box head life, the idea of box head is a baby that is born stuck within the box even before he is born and how people see him in life and how he live his life.

Sketch Jan 2012

Lately did some new drawing in my new sketchbook. This time for my sketchbook I thinking of  sticking to some  theme, So is kind of a old idea I use to have but never really didn't continue on, until recently looking at my old sketch book I feel that I will bring some of the idea back to life and one of them is the box head idea. 

Box head is like everyone in this world is wearing a box on their head, is like their mind is away within the box and trap there without them knowing.

Design

Haven't been posting any stuff lately this week, It have been a busy week for me doing my school FYP, so since I got time today I decide to spend some time posting my work I did this week. Anyway did another Design for a friend, I am thinking of designing a series of design with this concept.

The Runts

Did a graphic design last week during my FYP project, it starts off just creating me image but after that I ended up creating my whole team. I look so cute that I am planning to make another set of it using Marvel hero and DC hero.

Box within

Had this idea quite long time ago, wanted to draw a series of people putting a box over their head. The idea is to say that how people can put their mind a just a small box and expect to understand the whole world. Who can tell what right and what wrong. End of the day all the rules are just set by us.

Me Within

People who will wonder why my blog is is call seez-within and why I call myself seez with the Z. The idea is quite simple, See is a name I never really like using since young, is kind of a single Chinese name that was given by my dad and people like to make fun of it but one day I find out that what make me unique from others is a name that my father give me to be able to become the hope for my family and from my mentor Joe, he gave me an idea of making it to be my Artist, is to see what other people can’t see with their eyes. For the Z part, it started off as something cool but I end up releasing that is it part of my dream, a dream that I try not to wake up in and become what I want to be, that why I really like the idea of SEEZ as something that I can love and respect myself for.

Acrylic painting again

Today I did another acrylic painting again, but for this time I trying out different approach did a simple sketch on the canvas first and started to add the base colour and right after that add in the shadow and end it with a highlight too me about 3 hour to complete the art piece. There will some mistake in between like mess up the black paint, end up took about an hour repair the messed up part but the result came out quit well.

Today I learn more about how to handle acrylic paint better, hope that next week I come out with a better art piece
